Delete Your Account

      Short version: Delete your account any time in the app via Settings → Account → Delete Account, or request deletion here by emailing us — no app install required.
    

1. Delete In The App

Open Imprompt U and sign in.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
Confirm the deletion. Your account and data are removed immediately from active use and fully purged within 30 days.

2. Request Deletion Without The App

If you no longer have the app installed, or would rather not sign in, email alex@speakimpromptu.com with the subject line “Delete my account” from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.

3. What Gets Deleted

Your profile, email address, and authentication credentials.
Practice history, challenge scores, XP, streaks, badges, and zone progress.
Any stored speech transcripts and AI-generated feedback tied to your account.
Your subscription/entitlement record (an active subscription itself is cancelled separately through Apple, Google Play, or Stripe billing — see below).

4. What Isn’t Deleted By This Request

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through a store:

iOS: cancel via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Android: cancel via the Google Play Store app → Subscriptions.
Web: cancel via the in-app Manage Subscription portal, powered by Stripe.

Payment records may be retained separately as required by law (typically 7 years), and anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.
